Senior Cost Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to manage project cost control and accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budget compliance, and adherence to project control standards across complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform project accounting and cost control activities across assigned projects.
• Ensure correct implementation of project accounting procedures, policies, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and expenditures to ensure financial control.
• Prepare cost reports, analyses, and forecasts for management and stakeholders.
• Apply approved cost control methods, calculation tools, and software.
• Identify cost variances, trends, and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project control, finance, and engineering teams to ensure cost accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in project cost engineering or project accounting.
• Experience in the project industry or similar industries.
• B.Sc. in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of project control practices, standards, procedures, and cost calculation software.

Salary Range:

• 18,000 – 30,000 (based on experience and qualifications).
