Job Description
Join our dynamic construction team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia! We are seeking motivated and skilled Junior to Mid-Level Electricians to contribute to major construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for expatriate professionals to gain valuable international experience in a rapidly developing market, working on significant infrastructure and building developments.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Assembly:
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical wiring systems, conduits, raceways, panels, switchgear, distribution boards, lighting systems, power outlets, and related equipment on construction sites.
- Perform rough-in and finish electrical work for new construction projects (buildings, infrastructure).
- Assemble and install electrical components and fixtures according to project plans and codes.
Testing & Commissioning:
- Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and operational tests on circuits, equipment, and fixtures using appropriate test equipment (multimeters, meggers, etc.).
- Assist in the commissioning of electrical systems under supervision.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and faults safely and efficiently.
Compliance & Safety:
- Strictly adhere to all KSA electrical codes and standards (Saudi Building Code – SBC Electrical, NEC adaptations), company safety policies, and OSHA-equivalent safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or near misses immediately.
Support & Teamwork:
- Work collaboratively with other electricians, technicians, supervisors, and other trades on site.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and senior electricians accurately.
- Assist in material handling, inventory management, and site preparation as required.
- Learn and apply new techniques and procedures as directed.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
- Complete required daily reports and checklists.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. A recognized Electrical Diploma, Vocational Training Certificate, or Apprenticeship Completion Certificate is highly preferred.
- Experience:
- Junior Level: Minimum 1-3 years of practical experience as an Electrician, preferably in commercial or industrial construction settings.
- Mid-Level: Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as an Electrician, with significant exposure to construction projects (building, infrastructure).
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of electrical theory, principles, and practices.
- Proficiency in installing conduits (EMT, PVC, Rigid), pulling and terminating cables (LV).
- Experience with panelboards, distribution boards, lighting systems, power outlets, and basic control wiring.
- Ability to use common electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Basic ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
Licenses/Certifications (Advantageous):
- Valid electrician license/certification from home country or previous work location.
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour Construction Safety certification or equivalent.
- NFPA 70E (Arc Flash) Awareness training.
Expatriate Requirements:
- Must be eligible for an iqama (KSA work/residence visa) under the electrical trade classification.
- Willingness to undergo medical examinations as required by KSA regulations.
- Availability to live and work in KSA for the duration of the contract.

Working Conditions:
